Please note:
- BHPC events are for club members only – new members always welcome
- SXP events are for SXP members – encourage club members to join SXP and support the local region
- EPA events are for EPA members – SXP membership includes EPA membership
- Open events are open to anybody
Club competitions are all day events. We usually play 3 rounds in the morning and 3 rounds in the afternoon. This may vary, depending on the competition format.
You are welcome to just play in the afternoon, if you prefer. This will normally be entry in the Plate, where there is a Main & Plate KO. If the event is a Round Robin or Snake, you are still welcome but will, of course, be at a disadvantage playing fewer rounds.
Please register in advance for club competitions – it makes the organiser’s life so much easier! This is especially important if you would like to play in the afternoon.
Insurance
In these increasingly litigacious times, the club advises all members to ensure they have valid Third Party and Personal Cover, for sporting events. This is provided by EPA membership.
NB If you have your own insurance, it’s important to make sure this covers sporting events – many exclude them.
