Remember the days when Easter meant an early heatwave, people playing on the beach and everyone getting ready for summer?
Neither do we.
This year was more like the traditional British Easter we've become familiar with - howling winds blowing seaspray up onto the terrain, grey skies and freezing cold.
Perfect petanque playing weather. Almost.
Despite this, we managed to coax four teams to join in a quick half-day tournament.
And everyone said they enjoyed it........

What a surreal and utterly bonkers day of petanque, boozing and fancy dress. An amazing turnout and everyone making an effort to get into the spirit of things made for another excellent - if slightly "off the wall" day of bouling! (is that even a word?)...
