About us

Welcome to Brighton and Hove Petanque Club

Who we are
We are a very friendly and active club dedicated to promoting and developing the wonderful game of petanque.
Where we are
We're based at the Peace Statue terrain, on Brighton seafront (opposite Embassy Court) by Meeting Place cafe. Generously provided by Brighton and Hove Council, the terrain is one of the best and largest in the country and is set in an unrivalled location.
When we meet
We meet on Saturday and Sunday afternoons all year round (from 1pm) and often on Wednesday evenings (from 6pm) during the summer.
Who can join
We welcome new members of all ages and all levels of experience to enjoy this wonderful sport or to develop their talents to compete at all levels from local to international.
Access to equipment
We have, on-site, a fully-equipped clubhouse with kitchen and toilet facilities.
