Welcome to Brighton and Hove Pétanque Club (established 1995).
We are based at the Peace Statue terrain on the seafront by Meeting Place café (opposite Embassy Court). It’s one of the biggest and best terrains in the country, set in an unrivalled location. We are also very fortunate to benefit from a fully-equipped clubhouse with a kitchen and exclusive toilet facilities.
We warmly welcome players of all ages and standards, from beginners to aspiring champions. We offer a full and varied programme of social and competitive events.
When Do We Meet?
April to October
- Saturday and Sunday from 2pm
- Wednesday from 6pm
November to March
- Saturday and Sunday from 1pm
Last year our members provided four teams to represent Sussex Petanque (SXP) at the English Pétanque Association (EPA) Inter-Regional Championship and Challenge Cup. Our players are also current Doubles and Singles champions and runners-up in the Triples and Shooting championships held by SXP.
Past President of the club, Tony Mann, is National Secretary of the EPA.
