Out of a record 30 initial entries, 24 club members actually competed. The winner, losing only two games, was Ian Maynard. Congratulations to Ian, and well done to runner-up David Alfred and third-place Gareth Jarvis.
Please see the March newsletter for more details.

Great result Ian, really well done.
It’s especially encouraging to see how far some of the newer members have progressed. I think this shows how valuable the induction, coaching and practise sessions are.
I’ve always been convinced that Brighton has so much more potential – Ian and others like you, you are the proof.
Regards.
Ray
Congratulations Ian! Very well done.
Well done Ian and clearly you owe it all to Ray
Though David A has been knocked off the mantle this year he still shows what a consistant player he is to finish 2nd.
Also well done to Gareth for finsihing strongly in 3rd. It goes to show that 2 of our new and more keener members have really developed their game.
Thanks also to Ann for running the competition and for doing a fantastic job at keeping everyone informed with the league table throughout the competition and for being so proactive at getting everyone to provide their results (not an easy task !)
Lastly lets not forget the amazing person who finished 4th and who some will say (actually only himself) that he was robbed !
